FAWNA, is the brainchild of Canadian singer- songwriter Jenna Deagle Potter. Rooted in her passion for R&B, Trip-Hop & Electronica, Jenna is a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, boldly embracing her queerness in her work. Drawing inspiration from personal hardships, her music delves into themes of self-empowerment,
spirituality, and personal identity.
Jenna began her music career in the Halifax indie scene and moved to Montreal in 2013 to pursue her solo career and complete her Intermedia/Cyberarts degree. She quickly became recognized for her dynamic performances and collaborative work with local artists. FAWNA was born out of the desire to create her own project, combining her passions for both music and video.
With two EP’s and numerous other releases under her belt, Jenna continues to make her mark on the music scene. Her first EP, "Vol.1", was released in 2016 with her first single "Take It Or Leave It". In 2019, FAWNA teamed up with producer Cobrayama to release "CLEAR", an EP showcasing her versatility and skill as a collaborator. Since then, Jenna has worked with a wide range of artists from around the world, including Illa J, FRASE, Maine Soul, JIN, and Aspen King.
With her powerful voice, unapologetic individuality, and an unwavering commitment to her truth, FAWNA continues to offer a raw and intimate look at the human experience through her music. Currently, she is working on multiple new projects, including her second solo album,
and planning her tour for 2024.
